Demitri Allison and Andre Diouf, two of the most prolific athletes in SouthLake Christian Academy's history, have committed to colleges.

Allison, a senior, will play football at Elon (N.C.) University next fall.

Diouf, also a senior, will play soccer at the University of Central Florida.

The NCAA signing period begins Feb. 6, 2013, for both sports. Allison and Diouf both play for the Eagles fooball team.

Allison was an all-state pick as a junior receiver/defensive back last year. He caught 48 passes for 1,004 yards

and 16 touchdowns, rushed for 464 yards and seven touchdowns on 54 carries, made 41 tackles and had six

interceptions. Allison also plays basketball for SouthLake.

Diouf, a native of Senegal who plays defensive back, will begin his senior season with school records for

interceptions in a career (23) and season (nine in 2011). He plays soccer as a midfielder for the North

Mecklenburg Soccer Club and has been an all-star at several camps on the club level.
