SouthLake founded the Junior Eagles sports ministry in 2005 with the purpose of providing Lake Norman's youth with programs that teach players the fundamentals of team sports while incorporating Christian principles. The Junior Eagles leagues are open to all families in the Lake Norman area. Junior Eagles currently administers JEFA (Jr. Eagle Football Association) in the fall, JEMA (Jr. Eagle Mat Association) in the winter, and JEBA (Jr. Eagle Basketball Association) in the spring.

News Flash...JEBA will operate this week on the schedule below:
The Junior Eagle Basketball Association (JEBA) is a Spring Basketball League open to the Lake Norman community, for students Kindergarten through fifth grade. JEBA consist of a seven game season with practice once a week. Practices will be held on Mondays from 6:30-7:45pm for Kindergarten through 1st grade, Tuesdays 6:30-7:45pm for 2nd through 3rd grade and on Thursdays from 6:30-7:45pm for 4th and 5th grade. Games will be played on Saturday mornings, 9am K-1st grade, 10am 2nd-3rd grade, 11am 4th -5th grade. Practices are led by the SouthLake Christian Academy Varsity Basketball Coaching Staff and officiated by North Carolina certified referees.
Saturday game dates: 3/21, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/11(K-1st),
5/12(2nd-3rd), 5/14(4th-5th), 5/16

2014-2015 Mat Club
Attention Serious Jr. Wrestlers!!!
You are invited to join the 2014-2015 Mat Club beginning on November 12th, 2014 from 2:30 - 3:30.
We will focus on basic athletic skills as they relate specifically to the sport of wrestling and continue teaching some of the basic moves of wrestling. This will also include some basic strength and speed training along with some wrestling among the wrestlers if they are close in weight. We will also use wrestling as a way to extend the gospel and to help those who have embraced the gospel to become more like Jesus.
When: Wednesdays 2:30 - 3:30
(No Mat Club Wed., Nov. 26, Thanksgiving)
Where: Hampton Hall Basement
What to Bring: Shorts, T-shirt, Water Bottle, Signed Permission Form
Pick-Up: Promptly @ 3:30 from Hampton Hall Basement, or Afterschool
Care, wrestlers not picked up at 3:30 will be walked over to
Afterschool Care and afterschool fees will apply.
